Custom dashboards

You can create your own dashboards, share them in your organization, and leverage dashboards created by others.

Create a custom dashboard

To create a dashboard:

  1. Select Dashboards from the top navigation bar, and then select New dashboard from the dashboard navigation bar.

  2. Configure the new dashboard.

    1. Enter a dashboard name.

    2. Choose an emoji as the dashboard icon.

    3. Specify the the access level of the dashboard.

      A Private dashboard is accessible only to you; a Public dashboard is accessible to everyone in your organization. For a public dashboard, you can further specify whether others are able to edit it.

    4. Choose the density for your dashboard layout: Dense, Default, or Comfortable.

  3. Select Create dashboard.

    If successful, the icon of the new dashboard will appear alongside the other dashboard icons.

You can hover over the dashboard icon for more options in the drop-down menu:

  • Settings: Edit your dashboard. You can update all the settings specified when creating the dashboard.

  • Set as default: Set the dashboard as default. You can also set default dashboard on your profile. A later change always overwrites the existing configuration, regardless of where you make the change.

  • Delete: Remove the dashboard.

Attach a public dashboard

Public dashboards are custom dashboards that are accessible to others in your organization.

To add a public dashboard to your dashboard navigation bar:

  1. Select Attach from the dashboard navigation bar.

    The number besides the Attach button indicates how many public dashboards are available.

  2. Choose the dashboard of interest from the drop-down list.

  3. Select Attach.

If successful, the icon of the selected dashboard will appear alongside the other dashboard icons.

You can hover over the dashboard icon for more options in the drop-down menu:

  • Set as default: Set the dashboard as default. You can also set default dashboard on your profile. A later change always overwrites the existing configuration, regardless of where you make the change.

  • Detach: Remove the dashboard from your dashboard navigation bar.
